Sometimes the standard circuit is the right answer
We are paid when you book, which is exactly why this page is worth reading.
The standard circuits exist because they work. They have been refined over decades: the flights connect, the drive times are sane, the camps are proven, and the pricing is competitive precisely because everybody sells them.
For some trips, a bespoke route is a more expensive way to arrive at something slightly worse. It is worth naming those trips.
When the standard answer wins

| A first safari, seven nights, one country | The circuit covers the things a first safari should cover, and covers them in a sensible order |
| Peak season, booked late | Availability is doing the deciding, not the brief. A route built around what is free is a standard route by another name. |
| A tight budget with no flexibility | Volume pricing on established circuits is real. Bespoke gives that up. |
| Nobody in the party has a strong preference | A brief with nothing in it produces a standard circuit anyway, and more slowly |
| You genuinely want to see the famous places | That is a perfectly good trip and the circuit was built for it |
When bespoke clearly earns it
- A second or third safari, where repeating the first one is the failure mode
- More than one country, where the flights and borders decide what is possible at all
- A specific interest — photography, birds, walking, riding, conservation
- A constraint the standard answer cannot absorb: an age limit, a mobility question, a fixed anniversary date, a hard ceiling
- A party of six or more, where exclusive use changes the maths
- Anyone who has been disappointed by a trip before and knows why
What we will actually do
If your enquiry describes a trip the standard circuit does well, we will say so and quote you that, rather than manufacturing complexity to justify a word.
It is a worse sale and a better answer, and we would rather have the second one.
